Notaries Public do not notarize documents — we notarize the signatures on those documents. If a document requires two signatures, such as from a husband and wife, this counts as two separate notarizations.
Additionally, Notaries do not provide documents for clients. Supplying or preparing documents may be interpreted as giving legal advice, which is prohibited under California law.

Acceptable Forms of Identification
The following forms of identification are accepted:

California Driver's License or California ID Card (can be expired, but must have been issued within the last 5 years)

Mexican or Canadian Driver's License issued by the appropriate agency
